We are excited that you are making plans for your future at Angelo State University. Our orientation programs are designed to help you make smart choices as you start your college education. In addition to getting advised and registering for classes, you’ll attend information sessions to get better prepared for the semester.

Specifically designed for the Class of 2022, New Student Orientation is a one-day program that helps you and your family learn more about Angelo State. During orientation, you will have the chance to:
In order to make best use of your advising and registration time during orientation, please ensure we have your TSI scores prior to your orientation program.

If you have not yet taken your TSI Assessment, the ASU Testing Center will be offering orientation programs TSI testing. The fee for orientation program attendees is $30. To see available TSI exam dates and schedule your exam, please visit the ASU Testing Center TSI Assessment web page.
Overnight accommodations are available for students and their families for a nominal fee and may be reserved when registering for orientation.
This orientation program is designed specifically for students transferring from another university and/or college. Transfer Student Orientation is a one-day program that prepares incoming students for success at Angelo State University.

If you are unable to attend an Orientation event, please follow the instructions for admitted students available on the Admitted Students webpage. Click on “First Semester Prep” under the Can’t Attend Orientation heading.
You can prepare for your future at ASU by taking care of several of these items before you get to campus for orientation:
Student must also have final High School transcripts submitted to the Office of Admissions prior to attending orientation and any final, official college work transcripts submitted to the Office of Admissions prior to orientation or in person at orientation. Send all final transcripts to the Office of Admissions
New Student Orientation and Transfer Student Orientation check-in will begin at 8 a.m. in the University Center Lobby. The welcome session is at 9:15 a.m. in the C.J. Davidson Center. Students and families can expect to complete their day by 4 p.m.
