ASU My Future

Law Pre-Professional

Career Opportunities

In addition to criminal defense or prosecution, students who attend law school can pursue careers in family or business law. Family law is the negotiation of divorces and child custody while business law involves drawing up contracts, litigation, mortgages, trusts and wills for people and businesses. Lawyers may also advance to careers as judges, elected officials or government advisors. For more information about careers, visit the Career Development Office.
