ASU offers an entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.). The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Angelo State University is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), 1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314; Telephone: 703-706-3245; Email: firstname.lastname@example.org; website: http://www.capteonline.org.
Pre-Physical Therapy Advising Track
Pre-physical therapy advising helps students prepare for acceptance into graduate professional schools of physical therapy. Following ASU pre-physical therapy advising does not guarantee acceptance into our D.P.T. program. Generally, students should attempt to meet entry requirements for more than one professional school, and those requirements will differ among programs.
Students who follow the advising track and intend to apply to the Angelo State D.P.T. program should select a major and complete a bachelor’s degree. The choice of a major will depend on a student’s personal interest. The physical therapy faculty cannot advise students about undergraduate requirements, but they are available once a year for counseling to keep students informed about physical therapy prerequisites and admission policies.
