Departmental Highlights

  • The courses address the issues of transnational crime, border security, and homeland security with a holistic approach to real world issues.
  • The program was developed from the ground up with input from D.H.S. agents and local and state law enforcement.
  • Undergraduate major courses are offered in an eight-week online format as well as traditional campus classrooms.
  • The master’s degree offers students an in-depth, advanced approach to Border Security as a critical component of Homeland Security.
  • Most graduate courses are offered in an eight-week online format.
  • Faculty members have a total of 80 years of experience in the law enforcement and homeland security fields and in the military.
